English version (complete):

"Under this slogan

a broad platform of agricultural organizations, groups for environmental protection, NGOs and groups for the protection of animals called the demonstration on Saturday in Berlin , which included the participation of individuals and groups came from all over Germany. His intention: to make a counterpoint to the "Grüne Woche", the great propaganda show of industrial farming.

In recent years we have carried out numerous protest actions against the genetic engineering of agricultural products from agricultural multinationals and large international food consortium and against the fatal consequences of the mass rearing of pigs and chickens for meat production. But these actions were always done by small groups of farmers or environmentalists and had a strong local character.

This type of protest is often directed against the expansion of farming for mass production of meat, often for export. In recent years there have been founded over a hundred local platforms. Thus, the struggle of many local action groups, along with farmer organizations, advocacy groups environmental associations consumers and NGOs joined to organize this event. Thanks to the recent scandal of dioxin poisoning, the event attracted a wide media coverage. For the first time, the system of farming and ranching industry is challenged by the public.

Our group - "frisch vom serviert Krisenherd" - was present at the rally, accompanied by the samba group "the rate of resistance", with our motto "against the capitalist growth model - for food sovereignty." And under our flag, with the inscription "resistance is fertile" we express our protest, chanting slogans and protest songs. As on previous occasions, we refer to the international struggle carried out by "the peasant way" to criticize the strategies of agricultural and food multinationals and German agricultural policy, and recalling its implications for southern countries, is also thematized the growth model capitalist growth parameters subyaciente this.

Through our efforts, we have attempted to coordinate and bring together the strengths of different organizations working to achieve a model-oriented development and food production to meet needs, not the profit of a few. In the current context and under the existing correlation of forces, we have a long road ahead: Let up!

will support the conference in April against tougher laws for growing seed that will take place in Brussels.

On April 17, International Day of Action "Via Campesina", we will celebrate our collective garden "Ton, Steine, Gärten" an open debate on alternatives to industrial agriculture and livestock.

Estais tod @ s **** invited to participate! ***
